Quick And Easy Spicy Masala Makhana Recipe For Weight Loss

Ingredients:

-3 cups of Makhana (Forxnuts)

-2 to 3 tsp oil/ghee

-1 tbsp roughly chopped almonds -1 tbsp roughly chopped cashew nuts

-1 tbsp melon seeds

-1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

(You can use any dry fruits of your choice)

Spice mix ( masala)

Mix together:

-1/2 tsp red chilly powder

-1/2 tsp black pepper powder

-1/2 tsp jeera powder

-1/2 aamchur powder

-1/2 Chaat masala

-1/2 to 1 tsp powdered sugar

-Salt to taste

 

Method to make Masala Makhana

  1. Roast the dry fruits & seeds

-Add oil in a pan, roast the dry fruits and seeds 3 to 5 minutes until it’s nice and crispy

  1. Roast the Makhanas

-Add 1 tsp oil in the same pan, add the makhana and let it roast for 10-12 minutes on low to medium flame until it’s crispy. Stir occasionally. Remove from the pan and keep it aside

  1. Prepare the masala Makhana

-Add 1 to 2 tsp oil in the same pan along with the spice mix, cook the masalas for 30 secs to 1 minute, add the roasted makhanas and dry fruits and mix well.

-Ensure they are all well coated

-You can store it in a container and comsume it within 2 days
