White Sauce Vegetable Baked Toast Recipe is quick to make. This cheese loaded vegetable toast is loved by everyone.
When my kids are hungry and demand something quick to eat, I prefer this recipe. It is very easy, simple and delicious.
White Sauce Vegetable Baked Toast Recipe
INGREDIENTS FOR WHITE SAUCE
- 250 gm Milk (1 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 tbsp Maida
- 1 tsp Mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tbsp cheese grated
- 2 tbsp Amul butter
- 1 tsp Worcester shire sauce
- ½ carrot finely chopped
- 1 capsicum finely chopped
- ½ cup frozen corn
Add butter in a heavy based pan and keep it on fire. As soon as the butter melts add maida and mustard powder. Mix it very well and cook it for 30 sec. Switch off the gas and add milk. Mix it very well so that there are no lumps. Keep it back on fire. Go on stirring it till it becomes thick. As the sauce is thick add grated cheese, Worcester sauce, salt, pepper powder. Add carrot, capsicum and corns in it. Taste it and adjust the flavour.
Apply this sauce on bread and bake it at 180 degree till golden brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
You can omit mustard powder and worcester sauce if you don’t have.
