Vegetable Daliya is a very nutritive and low calorie meal. You can enjoy it even in breakfast lunch or dinner. It can be enjoyed by everyone whether it is children or adults. It is full of energy ,vitamins, minerals ,protein and fibre. Today I am going to share with you this healthy vegetable Daliya recipe

Vegetable Daliya Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Daliya
- 1 carrot finely chopped
- 7 to 8 beans finely chopped
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1/2 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp dhaniya powder
- 1/2 tsp gram masala
- 1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 tsp oil of your choice
Procedure
- Keep all the ingredients ready with you before making Daliya
- Take a pressure cooker and put some oil in it. Add jeera and till it splits add Daliya
- Roast Daliya for few minutes when it is little Golden brown
- Now add jeera, gram masala, dhaniya and mix it well
- Add peas and finely chopped carrots, beans and green chilli. Mix well
- Add 2 cups of water and salt to it
- close the lid and simmer the gas
- Wait for one whistle
- Put off the flame
- Let the Daliya be in steam for few minutes
- now open the lid and serve the Daliya with tomato ketchup or green chatni.
Note
If the Daliya is not cook properly you can add little more water and close the the lid and simmer it for sometime.
You can omit green chilli accordingly to your taste
Instead of oil you can use desi ghee. Even you can use olive oil also
