Here it is the super flavorful Veg Korma Recipe from my list of recipes.

I and my family relish it with rice. This is the best option when you are left with small quantity of various vegetables.

My kids really run away from vegetables. Making them eat vegetables is a task for me but when it come to vegetables korma they really love it. It is the easiest way to make them have vegetables.

Ingredients for veg korma

  • 2 finely chopped tomatoes
  • 2 pcs green chillies
  • 5-6 finely chopped french beans
  • 1 finely chopped carrot
  • 8 florets of broccoli
  • 8 cubes tofu/ Paneer(shallow fried in oil)
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum
  • Some finely chopped coconut(fresh/dry – remove brown skin)
  • 6 curry leaves(optional)
  • 2 pcs cardamom(elaichi)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks(dalchini)
  • 2 cloves(laung)
  • 6 whole black pepper(kali mirch)
  • 1/4 tsp fennel seeds(saunf)/cumin seeds(jeera)
  • 1 finely chopped onions
  • 3-4 pcs finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 inch finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 6-7 pcs cashews(chopped)
  • Some poppy seeds(khus khus – optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Directions for veg Korma

  • Heat up the pan add 1-2 tsp oil.(ghee-optional)
  • Add 2 pcs of elaichi, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 cloves, black pepper and fennel seeds
  • Add some finely chopped onions and add some salt over it.
  • Add 3-4 pcs finely chopped garlic
  • Add some finely chopped ginger and cook it on medium to high flame.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cashews(chopped), poppy seeds(khus khus – optional)
  • Add some finely chopped tomatoes, green chillies
  • Now turn off the gas
  • Add some finely chopped coconut(fresh/dry – remove brown skin)and mix it well.
  • Let the mixture rest for a while
  • And then grind it in the grinder
  • Heat up the pan pour 1tsp oil in it and add some curry leaves(optional)
  • Now add some finely chopped french beans, carrots, broccoli and Paneer
  • Cover the it with lid and cook it for 6-7 mins
  • Add some finely chopped capsicum
  • Add the mixture(masala) and mix it well
  • Add 1/2 cup water and keep stirring
  • Cover the lead for 5 mins
  • And then your Super Tasty Veg Korma is ready

NOTE

You can add any vegetables of your choice
