- 1 cup Vermicelli
- 1 carrot finely chopped
- ¼ cup beans finely chopped
- ¼ cup peas
- 1 big potato finely chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 4 tbsp oil
- Take a vessel and put 4 cup water. Heat it
- When it boils add salt and half tsp oil. Add Vermicelli and give 3-4 boils. Strain it and wash it with cool water so that they do not stick. keep it aside. Make sure they are not under or over cooked.
- Finely chop carrot 🥕 , potato 🥔 and beans. Take out the peas.
- Take a oil in a pan add oil and put the potato in it. Fry them till golden brown. Take them out
- Now add mustard seeds in that oil and when they start spilting add curry leaves and green chilli. Stir it.
- Now add all the vegetables and add salt. Stir it till vegetables are cooked. Keep the vegetables crunchy.
- Now add red chilli powder and garam masala and stir well
- Add fried potatoes and boiled Vermicelli. Mix it well
- Vermicelli Upma is ready. Serve hot
