How to make Hot and Sour Soup
Ingredients :
For Stock:-
- Chopped Carrot, Small Ginger Knob 2-3 Garlic Cloves, 1 small Onion, Cabbage, Celery Leaves & Coriander Stems
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 Star Anise
- 2 cup Water
For Soup:-
- 1-2 spoon Oil
- Finely chopped Ginger, Garlic, Green Chillies, Celery Leaves & Onion
- Salt to taste
- Chopped Mushroom, Carrot & French Beans
- Chopped Cabbage & Bell Peppers
- 2 tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tbs Tomato Ketchup (alternatively Chilli Sauce can be used)
- 1 spoon Cornflour diluted with Water
- Finely chopped Spring Onion & Coriander
Method :
- First let’s start making vegetable stock
- In a pan add some veggies (Chopped Carrot, Small Ginger Knob, 2-3 Garlic Cloves, 1 small Onion & Cabbage)
- For flavour add 2 Bay Leaves & 1 Star Anise
- Add 2 cup Water and boil all veggies nicely
- Strain the water once cooled
- Further in another pan, take 1-2 spoon Oil
- Add finely chopped veggies
- (Ginger, Garlic, Green Chillies, Celery Leaves & Onion)
- Add Salt to taste and saute
- Add chopped Mushroom, Carrot & French Beans
- Cook for two minutes
- Then add chopped Cabbage & coloured Bell Peppers
- Add 2 cup Vegetable Stock prepared
- Add 2 tbs Soy Sauce
- Add 1 tsp Vinegar
- Add 1 tbs Tomato Ketchup
- Add 1 spoon Corn Flour diluted with a little Water
- Keep stirring continuously & bring it to a boil
- Turn off the heat and add chopped Spring Onion & Coriander
- Take it in a serving bowl, garnish with some more Spring Onion & Coriander
- Enjoy Scrumptious Hot and Sour Soup.
