Ingredients

  • 1 glass chilled water
  • 1/2 tsp finely shredded fresh turmeric
  • 1 tbs honey/jaggery
  • Pinch of crushed black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 lime juice

Method

  • Take another jar to make haldi juice Haldi Lemonade, add 1/2 tsp finely shredded fresh turmeric
  • Add 1 tbs honey/jaggery
  • Add a pinch of crushed black pepper
  • Add a pinch of salt
  • Add 1 lime juice and mix it
  • Add 1 cup chilled water Further to assemble Haldi Lemonade, take another mason jar/glass
  • Add ice cubes, 2 lime slices and mint stem
  • Now seive and pour haldi juice

Tips

For a tastier lemonade rich in beneficial effects, you can also add freshly grated ginger root, in fact ginger adds a strong flavor and, combined with turmeric, it increases the diuretic and antioxidant effects of your lemonade.

As an alternative to turmeric root you can use 4 teaspoons of turmeric powder.
